Conical

The name of this tea set is what gives away its shape. It is conical and rebellious; almost like an optical illusion, the four cups are designed to make them appear upside down when in fact they are not.
We are used to facing the lines of a design in the direction that is most suitable to us and on the basis of a user friendly practicality we take for granted.
In this particular case, the teapot itself decides what shape it chooses to take and freely defines itself within the space.
It may be a challenge to use, however, due to its bold character it will manage to impose on us and gain our admiration as a work of art.
